Teen Space Construction

The construction on the Teen Space has begun. Our four volunteers worked hard all evening taping, painting and stuffing our "Foof" chairs. The wall will be black with flourescent splatters.

We started with a gray base and will finish with the black during the next session. The guys have yet to put together the table and chairs, and will also need to set up the video gaming system.

Remember to watch for our "Grand Opening" in March!

Teen Space

Thanks goes to our Teen group for planning, selecting, and ordering furniture and equipment for our upcoming Teen Space. We have received all of the furniture and are in the process of scheduling a painting session. This space will be for ages 12 to 18 only. Covered beverages and snacks are allowed. This area will have poof chairs, a study table, a 27" TV with a DVD player, PS2 with games, including DDR, Need for Speed, Tony Hawk, and Wheel of Fortune. There will be video chairs and 4 controllers so you can challenge your friends. Movies rated G, PG, and PG-13 can be enjoyed in this area. Headphones will be available.

Our Grand Opening of the Teen Space will be held during Teen Tech week beginning March 5. Watch for activities, such as DDR tournaments, podcasting, and game night.
